Throughout the festival, international artists presented critical and creative reflections on Bauhaus ideas about dance, theater, music and technological innovation, evaluating their relevance for present and future artistic practice. We took the basic shapes from the anniversary celebration’s corporate identity, broke them down into fragments and put them back together as more extreme versions of themselves. These new designs were used to promote the event in banners, posters, invitations and other formats.
We also modified the Euroscale color palette, replacing yellow and magenta with fluorescent shades for maximum radiance in print media. The technical challenge of achieving colors that were brilliant but not unnatural required extraordinary skill and craftsmanship from the printers involved in the project.
