Campus of Cultures

In addition to our usual in-person workshops, we’ve developed a digital infrastructure for collaborating on new brand strategies, including the best online tools to foster a diverse exchange of thoughts and ideas. In 2020 we used this framework with the Eidelstedt cultural center in Hamburg. Working together, we compiled a list of key words, redefined the core elements of the brand and developed a new corporate design.

Bürgerhaus Eidelstedt Campus of Cultures 2020–21

  • As an urban development project, the Eidelstedt center is unique in Germany. Combining three separate institutions (for social services, culture and education) and offering a wide range of programs, the campus encourages people from different cultural backgrounds to meet and interact with each other.

  • The name steeedt, from the word for »city« in the local dialect, evokes the feeling of neighborhood, while the three e’s represent the way the center brings together three institutions under one roof.

  • In addition to the visual identity, we also created a concept for the building signage. We look forward to seeeing the center thrive and grow!
