The ZKR’s mission is to explore the complex interplay between art, architecture and the urban spaces and landscapes in which they are located. By presenting international works of contemporary art side by side with historic pieces from East Germany, the ZKR’s exhibitions reveal surprising connections between the artistic positions of yesterday and today.
We designed the center’s logo, typography and visual imagery to work in tandem. By omitting the »O« from the logo, we made room for creativity and fit the ZKR into the brand architecture of its parent company, Grün Berlin GmbH.
Business cards, letterhead and other printed materials feature a minimal design, leaving plenty of space for art to shine. An agile and responsive WordPress-based website provides the hub for the ZKR’s communications.
